Green Circle Salons is a sustainability program that helps salons recover and recycle beauty waste that would otherwise go to landfill or waterways. Through a verified recovery system, training, and ongoing support, they make it easy for salons to operate more sustainably—without disrupting daily operations. Green Circle Salons is a Certified B Corp and NSF Landfill-Free Verified company.

Through this partnership we are able to recycle almost everything used in our daily services. Hair Clippings, Foils, leftover color, color tubes, plastic and one time use items are all sorted and shipped to a Green Circle Facility where they are processed and repurposed so it becomes something new instead of ending up in landfill or waterways.

Last year alone, Green Circle Salons’ Waste Warrior community helped to:

● Keep 1,358,103 lbs of beauty waste out of landfills and waterways

● Generate 85,866 kWh of clean energy was generated from Waste to Energy. That’s enough to power 94 homes for a month or charge over 7,000,000 smartphones!

● Avoided 2,742.95 metric tons of Co2e by keeping 1,358,103 lbs of beauty waste (like hair clippings, hair color, PPE, and other single-use items) out of the landfill. That’s the same as taking 610 cars off the road for a full year.
